All Souls’ Day is a day for commemoration of all the faithful departed. It reminds
us that death is not the end, but a transition to a higher realm which bring us
closer to God.
On 2 November 2023, Catholic
students and teachers of three sections gathered in our school chapel for the
Remembrance Mass to pray that our dear departed ones
may enter eternal peace and joy, which was presided by Supervisor Fr. Hyacinth
and assisted by Deacon Bosco. Not only did we pray for our loved ones, but for
the people in the warzones in different parts of the world at the present.
Students
from different sections joined hands in making the Remembrance Mass a
meaningful one by their prayers, Scripture reading and singing of hymns,
especially by the offerings of the wish-cards for their departed loving ones .
Our physical bodies may deteriorate, but as faithful servants and believers,
our souls live on in the presence of God.
